You claim your solutions are affordable; how come?
It’s a combination of two things: We only work with solutions created on the Ignition Platform, which means we’re really good at it. Also, we constantly work on refining our delivery process, so we can design and deliver customized solutions in a fast and reliable way. This approach makes us affordable for our clients.
What about licence costs for the Ignition Platform itself?
The Ignition licence cost is affordable; furthermore it’s a one-off payment.
Can you host our solution?
Sure! If you want us to take care of updates, security and maintenance we’ll be more than happy to assist you.
How do I access the solution?
You can access your solution remotely in any web browser and from any device. Which means you also have mobile access.
What about support?
In general, we offer support during normal office hours in Danish and English.
Why do you build your solutions on the Ignition Platform?
Ignition enables us to build our solutions on modern IT practice with a non-proprietary mindset, focus on data accessibility and where unlimited is taken for granted.
What about our hardware?
Ignition is hardware independent.
What about our PLC’s - which PLC’s can you connect to?
Because we build on the Ignition Platform, our solutions connect effortless to all traditional PLC’s.
How many users, tags, databases and devices can I get set-up?
Unlimited! There are no restrictions at all.
The Ignition Platform
Who owns Ignition?
Ignition is owned by Inductive Automation from California, US.
Why was Ignition developed in the first place?
The initial goal from Inductive Automation was to develop an alternative to existing SCADA solutions. (Note how cleverly we avoided using the word disrupt.) Now Ignition is so much more.
What is The Ignition Platform?
It’s a powerful integrated development environment where you can create any kind of industrial application.
Can I test the Ignition Platform myself?
You can download Ignition for free and play around with the platform as much as you like. You can also contact us. We’ll be more than happy to show you how it works (for free of course).
